It is already a known fact that the risks increase as we become more technology dependent.
During the last decades, countries around the world started to publish laws and regulations targeting the cybersecurity landscape. The main aim was to govern the usage of technology in an attempt to shape and control its progression so why the sudden interest in privacy worldwide?
Everything around is data-driven. It’s part of our practical life; don’t think this is only related to technology, not at all. Our human brain functions on data input, analysis and then, when a decision is taken, our brain does it seamlessly - it becomes something natural. For example, imagine walking out of the door; your eyes are capturing the door knob, sending a signal to your brain that you just reached the door, so your brain will send signals to your legs to stop walking, then the brain will send signals to your hand to reach out to the door knob, put pressure on it and then pull or push the door until it’s open. Then your eyes will detect the door is open and… so on.
Think of the huge volume of data being processed in this simple event. Accordingly, computers and technology rely on a huge amount of data. Data can have several types, including personal data; technology and social media are evolving at a fast pace with the main objective of how to serve you better and how....
