These threat actor names are made up, but the point of the fake headlines remains the same as real ones: every day – actually many times a day – many groups attack many organizations. And we’re only told of some of the attacks and the repercussions.
What does it take to do one’s best to keep our company out of the news? (IMPORTANT NOTE: Crime happens – always has, always will. Just because a company makes the news does not mean that the company has been negligent. This article is an attempt at making the dangers known and encourage organizations – specifically those in healthcare – to do their best at securing their and their patients’ data.)
