Many of us have been victims of a fraud attack—often, multiple times in one...
Hakin9 Team would like to issue a statement concerning the “Nmap” article. First of all, we would like to sincerely apologize everyone of you and all our readers for what happened. We have to admit that it was an unintentional mistake on our part. It should not have been published but for some reasons, which we are currently investigating internally, it was published, causing, as we can see, many negative voices.
Mentioning that we would like to thank you for all your efforts to make things right. As negative as they sound, we humbly accept them and take full responsibility for that mistake. We can only wish that this, hopefully, single error will not undermine the general perception of Hakin9 as a professional magazine; offering the highest standard possible. We would also like to kindly ask you not to pass any judgement on the authors collaborating with us, who devote their time and put their hearts into the quality of every issue.
Instead, we would like to see this situation as a cautionary tale for us. We can assure you that we will investigate the matter so as to prevent such “accidents” in the future. If you have any further questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us via email: [email protected]
