Anthony Radzykewycz: I designed this workshop for anyone curious about how game hacking works and how cheats are created to give players an unfair advantage. Whether you're just starting out or have some experience, this course is meant to guide you through the basics.

Bartek from Hakin9: What game will you be using during your live workshop, and why did you choose it?

Anthony Radzykewycz: We’ll be using AssaultCube. It's a free and open-source game that requires minimal resources to run. It’s also a popular entry point for many game hackers. The simplicity and accessibility of AssaultCube make it an ideal choice for demonstrating fundamental game hacking concepts.

Bartek from Hakin9: Are you, or were you, into video games in general?

Anthony Radzykewycz: Absolutely! I grew up playing video games, and they've been a big part of my life. My passion for gaming naturally led me to explore the technical side, which eventually brought me into game hacking.

Bartek from Hakin9: Can you briefly explain the primary differences between debugging and game hacking?

Anthony Radzykewycz: Debugging a game focuses primarily on fixing issues or bugs within the game. It's about making sure everything runs smoothly as intended. On the other hand, game hacking is about manipulating the game to make something unintended happen, often to gain an unfair advantage.
