Foxy Brown brother guilty of ID theft

The brother and former hype man of rapper Foxy Brown faces up to five years in jail after he admitted to identity theft.Gavin Marchand, 36, was arrested with three accomplices at designer jewelers, Hermes in New York after he allegedly used a bogus American Express credit card to pay for up to $5,000 worth of merchandise last year, according to reports. Undercover officers spotted Marchand, who was also an aspiring musician, while doing surveillance in the store at the time.Despite initially entering a not guilty plea, he later admitted that he committed the offence in court last week (Aug 19). Marchand, who was released on bail, is set to be sentenced on September 28. In August 2007 Foxy Brown was sentenced to one year in jail after violating the terms of her probation when she was arrested for hitting her neighbor with her mobile phone.
