Samsung Galaxy S3 firmware stability update

Samsung have now released a firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 here in the UK (see bootnote). It’s a 1MB XXLH1 firmware update via Over The Air (OTA). Which means you cannot update using Wi-Fi. Samsung are referring to this update for the S3 as a stability update. Julian has looked for an official change log but couldn’t find one, but some of his colleagues suspect that this update improves the wireless performance. The Galaxy S3 XXLH1 firmware update may also be preparing the S3 for Android 4.1, also known as Jelly Bean.
