I have a machine (client) BT4 on a private network with dynamic address on outside of cable modem. I am connecting to a gateway (ssh,nmap) that is running CENTOS4 to reach another Cent box on yet another private network. (only gateway has nmap along with my tools on the client)

I have only limited user rights and cannot su and not able to sudo.

Question: What is the best way to tunnel through to let my BT installation run the tools from my client machine to scan the internal network without moving code and compiling on remote box?

Any advise is appreciated. I’ve been trying several ssh methods but no complete success. I have ssh login to both gateway and one remote system.

Or is my approach incorrect, it dosent matter if I leave tracks as this is setup for practice and all access by me is permitted.

I am not permitted to “hack” the gateway but need to test all of the boxes on the internal network behind gateway.
